Found Poem: From Heidegger’s "Building Dwelling Thinking," Hofstadter translation

The sky is the vaulting path
of the sun. The blue depth
of ether: To be capable of death
as death, receive the sky
as sky. Await the divinities
as divinities. In the meantime,
there rages round the earth
an unbridled yet clever talking,
writing and broadcasting
of spoken words. Man acts
as though he were the master
of language. In fact language
remains master of man.
